Before Vincent van Gogh became an artist he worked in an art store, as a teacher, as a bookseller and in a church. People love van Gogh’s paintings. He painted bright sunflowers, colourful landscapes and beautiful night skies. Vincent sold only one painting in his lifetime, luckily he and his brother Theo were very close. Theo helped Vincent a lot by sending him money so he could pay his rent and have money to live.
