Why 4Cats?
4Cats is everything I wish I had had when I was little. It’s fun, it’s exciting, it’s real art supplies and real stories about real artists! It has a great community feeling. It combines my two favourite things; making art and kids!

So far, what lesson has been your favourite?
I have favourite moments from every lesson but I really enjoyed teaching Lawren Harris. We did a painting of Lake and Mountains and all the kids were so proud of their final product. I love to see my students proud to show off their work to their parents. It’s one of the best parts of the day.

Who is your favourite artist and why?
This is a really hard question because I have so many for so many different reasons, but if I had to choose one I’d say Modigliani. I just love his colour and form. I love his style of painting and sculpting the human figure. I even named my cat Modigliani!

Light turquoise
