Paul Klee was a painter from Switzerland. Paul Klee became part of an expressionist art group called The Blue Rider. Paul played the violin and married a concert pianist named Lily. He became a teacher at the Bauhaus, a really famous school of art in Germany. He was very interested in art history and art theory. He liked to give his paintings funny and unusual names.
