membership FAQ


How long is the membership good for?

You can register through the members site for the September, October, November and December workshops. The next member registration period will be from January to June. Memberships will be available as of Oct 1. A membership confirmation will be sent to you with a link where you can check your registrations anytime.

I already registered for a class, can I become a member for Sept to Dec still?
Yes! We will just credit the amount you have spent towards the membership. Email us at and we will switch it lickety split.

I already signed my child up for artist focus / specialty / kittens class 10 week classes, can I change to the membership program?
Yes! We will just credit the amount you have spent towards the membership. Email us at and we will switch it lickety split.

Can I drop out?
You are committed to the whole 4 months and responsible for all 4 payments.

If I have more than 1 kid, can I share the pass or does each kid need a membership? (Ie. my son will take the artist of the month class but my daughter will take the workshops.)
The kid memberships are for one child.

How will I know how much of the bundle I have redeemed?
Click the link we emailed you to access your account at anytime.

Are members guaranteed a space in the workshops?
We encourage members to register during the membership preregistration period before workshops are released to the general public. Space is not guaranteed.

Please provide your credit card number and expiry date to confirm the registration(s). The cost as outlined on the website plus tax will be charged to this card. We accept Visa and MasterCard only for online registrations. Please note this does not include Visa Debit. Payment must be received at time of booking. Cash payments can be made for in-studio bookings only.

For the family membership how many people can attend?
Up to 5 names on the account. Each workshop is for 1 child and 1 adult. You can also use your free family workshop pass for more members to attend.


When do I receive my kit of the month?

Each month we have a new member kit to give you.

  • For September: pick up polymer kit after September 2nd
  • For October: pick up polymer kit after October 2nd
  • For November: pick up polymer kit after November 2nd
  • For December: pick up painting kit after December 2nd

All kits must be picked up before Dec 31, 2016.

How many kits are included in the family/ kids / adult membership?
3 polymer clay kits, 1 painting kit

Can I exchange my kit for another kit or different retail?
Each kit of the month is a specific kit. Kits are not refundable, transferable or exchangeable.


How do I receive my membership discount on a party or any other special member discounts when I am registering through the non-member site?
When booking your party there is a place to enter your frequent make membership code and we will deduct 20% off the base party price pre tax before we process your payment.

This code is sent to you in an email after you purchase your membership.

I have 3 kid memberships, can I use all the discounts one party?
Maximum is 20% off per party.


It ends up I can't attend a workshop I registered for. Can someone else go?

Sorry, memberships are not transferable under any circumstance. Please note we require a minimum of 24 hours to cancel a registration in order for credit to be given.

Where can I see more about the projects and the artists?

Why only artist of the month classes?
Artist of the Month classes are our 4Cats specialty classes! They are so incredibly awesome.
  • Kids get to create in a variety of mediums, taking inspiration from the works of famous artists
  • Trained in fine arts, our professional curators tell captivating and inspiring stories in a fun and humorous manner about the life and work of the artist being introduced, creating an environment that encourages the love of learning, creativity, and fun.
  • Each student receives 3 Artist of the Month storybooks and trading cards.
  • The trading cards with a secret code that you can enter on the 4Cats website to watch an animated cartoon of the artist’s storybook.

Doesn't artist of the month mean cookie cutter art where you just copy the masters paintings?
Nooooooo. We are only inspired by the artist or the artist subject matter. The purpose is not to copy. We encourage individual artistic choices, creativity, learning and fun.

Is artist of the month mixed media?
Yes! We may be completing paintings, drawing, sculpture, clay, paper mache – lots of different mediums and techniques are covered. It is a great way to try lots of mediums!

What happens if my child misses a class?
You can arrange with your curator for the child to come in 10 mins before or stay 10 mins after the next class if it works with the schedule.
Catch up times are set solely to ensure students are able to keep up with the class projects. Catch up times do not carry over past the end of the membership. Classes cannot be pro-rated or credited for time missed. 4Cats is not obligated to provide catch up time for missed time, however, we do our best to ensure projects are completed.


What do I wear?
Please be dressed for mess as we will be using professional art supplies which do not come out of clothing. 4Cats cannot be responsible for any lost or damaged items. We use professional paint that seems to jump on you, dress for mess.

Please arrive on time as all classes begin promptly as scheduled.

Canvas stretching
All canvas paintings are created on unstretched canvas. We offer the option to upgrade your canvas or have it stretched. Prices vary depending on the size of the canvas. Please let your curator know either at the beginning or end of your class, and they will be able to assist you. TWO STRETCHES ARE INCLUDED WITH MEMBERSHIPS.

Art work pick up
Completed artwork will be stored for 14 days only please.

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to 4Cats Membership Recurring Payment Terms (“Terms”) for our Membership program (“Membership”). These terms are between you and 4Cats Arts Studio Main Street. (“4Cats Main Street”, “we” or “us”), and govern our respective rights and obligations. The Terms, together with applicable terms and conditions related to your membership, constitute the entire agreement between you and 4Cats Main Street related to Membership. Please note that your use of the 4Cats Main Street Membership website is also governed by our Conditions of Use and Privacy Notice, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, limitations and requirements on the 4Cats Main Street website, all of which (as changed over time) are incorporated into these Terms. If you purchase the Membership, you accept these terms, conditions, limitations and requirements. Please read these Terms carefully.

Recurring Payment
Valid credit cards are the only payment method accepted for Membership purchases. Do not sign up for a Membership with a debit card. Also known as a “check” or “ATM” card, a debit card typically has the word “debit” printed on the face of the card. MasterCard uses a unique debit hologram above the MasterCard logo. Visa identifies its debit cards as check cards and prints the word debit above the Visa logo.

The charge for each recurring payment will be billed to the credit card used to create your subscription to the Membership. You authorize regularly scheduled charges to your credit card. You will be charged the amount indicated below each billing period. A receipt for each payment will be emailed to you and the charge will appear on your credit card statement as an “XX.” You agree that no prior-notification will be provided unless the date or amount changes, in which case you will receive notice from us at least 10 days prior to the payment being collected.

You understand that this authorization will remain in effect until the full membership billing periods end, and you agree to notify 4Cats Main Street in writing of any changes in your account information at least 15 days prior to the next billing date.

If the above noted payment dates fall on a weekend or holiday, you understand that the payments may be executed on the next business day. You understand that because these are electronic transactions, these funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the above noted periodic transaction dates.

You certify that you are an authorized user of this credit card and will not dispute these scheduled transactions with your bank or credit card company.

You will receive a “Failed Payment on Recurring Plan” notification email and we include a link in this email from which you can update your own card information. You will receive this email on every failed attempt to charge your cards.
