Michelangelo was one of the most famous artists that ever lived. He was a sculptor, a painter, an architect and a poet. One of Michelangelo’s greatest masterpieces is the Sistine Chapel in Rome. He spent four years painting the ceiling. He had to paint it on his back! It included paintings of over 300 people.
