What’s your educational background?
I am a certified goldsmith and I have a Visual Arts diploma from Camosun College.

How did you first hear about 4Cats?
I drove by the 4Cats Langford Studio and was instantly intrigued.

Why 4Cats?
Because art opens the doors to the imagination at any age and I want to be part of that process.

What is your favourite colour?
Fire engine red!

Favourite art quote?
“I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.” ~Pablo Picasso

Who is your favourite artist and why?
I have many favourite artists but if I had to pick just one it would have to Picasso. He created art everyday of his life… his life was art. He discovered how to bend reality.

What is your favourite art medium, and why?
Sculpting… as a goldsmith you are creating miniature sculptures.

So… any other interesting facts we should know about you?
I have two daughters, Simone and Euphemia and I have four grandchildren Mathew, Katie, Micah and Oscar… all of us love art.

What’s your educational and life experience background?I am currently an art student at SFU studying Visual Arts and Culture.

How did you first hear about 4Cats?
I was walking by one day and the sign caught my attention, I went in and was immediately intrigued be the wonderful atmosphere and fabulous art work. I knew then and there that 4Cats was where I wanted to be.

Why 4Cats?
Because its the best, most fun art studio ever!

What is your favourite colour?
Sunshine yellow!

Who is your favourite artist and why?
Gustav Klimt. I love they way he was able to portray such incredible emotions in his paintings, “The Kiss” is an excellent example of this.

What is your favourite art medium, and why?
Painting of course! You get to create incredible works of art while getting a little bit messy! Is there anything better then that?!?!

So… any other interesting facts we should know about you?
My middle name is lettuce, believe it or not its on my birth certificate.
