Why 4Cats?
4Cats “is the best, most fun art studio ever.” 4Cats brings together the theory and the practice of art. What other job could I have that would allow me to help fashion yoga out of clay in the morning in a workshop, learn and teach about famous and influential artists at lunch time in an artist of the month class, and throw paint in the afternoon at a birthday party? Oh and did I mention getting to work with fantastically talented young artists!!

What is your favourite colour?
Chrome oxide green.

Who is your favourite artist and why?
My favourite artist is Vincent van Gogh because of the vivid colors, his freedom in applying paint and the emotions evoked by his works.

So…any other interesting arts facts we should know about you?
I spent one year of my degree living and going to school in eastern France, where I had the opportunity to see several paintings in real life, which I had previously studied in school. After that experience, I realized how important art education can be to deepen our appreciation of travel and of history. Since I was little, I have loved painting, drawing and sculpting and I’m so excited to share my love of art with the kids!
