Meet Christin!

What’s your educational background?
I am educated as a pastor. I have been employed as a children’s pastor for 10 years.

Why 4Cats?
Because I LOVE kids and teaching and art!

Favourite art quote?

Who is your favourite artist and why?
The first artist to capture my imagination is Van Gogh. In my adult life I have followed Graeme Base. I love his work because it is full of hidden secrets and tells a story.

What is your favourite art medium, and why?
I love to work with paper. I did my High School Art portfolio in paper craft from sculpture to masks. It seems to have no limits even though it should.

So…any other interesting facts we should know about you?
I have traveled to Haiti and love a small village there called Haute Limbe. I like to visit there as often as I can. I also have adopted children from Ethiopia. I am American. Shhh… I have been a citizen for 3 years.

What’s your educational and life experience background?
I started going to school for education and then I was offered a job working at a preschool that I later became the director of!  My life experience has always including kids because they are brilliant!

Sunshine!

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.  Thomas Merton

What is your favourite art medium, and why?
I like to paint!

I might be addicted to chocolate milk!
