The art of clay!
Everyone creates a one of a kind pottery project that will be fired in our studio kiln! Please note that creations must be dry before they are baked in the kiln. It takes approximately 3 weeks before items can be picked up.

For the last party of the day, rather then the usual 60 minutes of instruction time, a 90 minutes of instruction time clay party may be booked for $225.00 +tax / $16.00 per extra guest.

4Cats offers a fun and unique way to celebrate your next event with family and friends or your next corporate event with staff and co-workers. Projects are suited to all levels of ability with a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 50 people. These Jackson Pollock style events last for 2 hours. 1.5 hours of instruction with a 30 minute break. Each party guest works on their own 11″ x 14″ stretched canvas, plus everyone participates in the creation of a 6 foot by 3 foot unstretched canvas for the host.

Cost: $250.00 +tax / $25.00 per extra guest.

Important Information

Cost & Payment	- Cost per 10 guests including birthday person. - We accept Visa, Mastercard or Cheque. Payment must be received within 2 days of booking.
Refund & Credit Policy	No refunds. Credit may be issued if booking is canceled at least 14 days prior to the event. We cannot provide credit or re-schedule the event after this time. Birthday credits must be used within 2 months of the original booking.
Event Timeline	How long are parties? The parties run for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The first hour of the party  Instruction will commence within 10 minutes of start time. The instructor will be in charge of this portion of the party. Parents may continue any further set up while the instruction portion of the party is taking place, if necessary. The last 45 minutes  Parents are responsible for the remaining 45 minutes and will be assigned a specific studio room. We ask that the party please be contained to this area. The instructor will be completing the necessary clean up during this time and will be unavailable to help with supervision. Parents provide all food and beverages as well as cups, plates, cutlery, table cloth and napkins. Please ensure guests stay in the party area during this time. Feel free to show parents picking up their children the art work.
How Many Participants?	The party cost includes 10 guests including the birthday person. – an additional fee is charged for each extra guest. There is a $35 fee for an extra instructor for parties over 12 guests.
What Age is Appropriate?	The parties are suitable for ages 3 to 16. We have adult party options as well. Please contact the studio for more information.
Invitations	Invitations are available at no extra cost – you may pick them up at the studio. Sorry, we are unable to mail the invitations.
What to Wear	Please remind the guest’s parents that both clothes and shoes will be covered in paint. Shoes must be worn in the paint splatter room. 4Cats is not responsible for any damages to clothing or personal belongings.
When can we arrive?	The Birthday parents may arrive 10 minutes early for setting up, if necessary. Please do not arrive earlier as we have other classes or parties prior to your party. Paper and pastels will be provided at the beginning of the party to provide guests with an activity while waiting for other guests to arrive.
When you arrive	The curator will give you a form for all guests to sign in. Please have all guests sign in and provide contact information upon arrival.
Before you leave	Paint Throwing Party Parents will arrange to pick up the 6 ft canvas – it will take approximately 1 week to dry. Paper paintings can be picked up 2 days after the party or at the time of picking up the canvas. Upon viewing the completed canvas, you have the option of having it stretched onto a wooden frame. Please ask for pricing. Please let the curator know if you wish to have this done. Stretching must be pre-paid.
The Rules	This is a very exciting party! However, for safety reasons it is important there is - • no running in the studio as paint is very slippery. • no climbing on furniture • no sitting on the table • no standing on the benches • no touching the art supplies or art work on the shelves
Important Information	Booked a Paint Throwing Party?  We ask that parents do not come into the paint throwing room for the full hour as the space is limited. Parents may however come in to take pictures and watch from behind the plastic. The curator will not need assistance during this time. The End of the Party It is important to ensure the party ends within 10 minutes of the scheduled ending as the space is booked for other parties or events. Party artwork will be held for 1 month only.
